G Gathering Festival Raises Awareness, Funding, and Spirits

Festival Raises Awareness, Funding, and Spirits

The cold definitely wasn't an issue for the students attending J.P. Knapp Early College High School Fall Festival and Craft Show. The Spartan Community Partnership sponsored the event to get the word out about the early college and to help the students raise money for various clubs. Outside on the baseball field, kids lined up to get their faces painted while parents watched the Greater Atlantic Rescue Dogs perform a lost child demonstration. The hot chocolate wasn't enough to warm some, so they headed inside to the gym where numerous vendors had booths set up. Music, food and art; what more could you ask for on a Friday night?
